Green Way Landscape Company has been providing high-quality, affordable snow removal services in Iowa City, Coralville, and the surrounding communities since opening in 2008. Green Way Landscape company would love to add you to our growing list of satisfied customers today.

 

Green Way Landscape company offer many landscape services all year long, and as part of our winter services, Green Way Landscape Company offer several contract-based removal packages as well as a one-time snow removal service.

 

Additionally, Green Way Landscape company provide no-contract removal and cleaning services that are available on-demand.

These packages feature:

• On-call snow clearing from driveway, sidewalks, and steps starting at $90 per service. Prices may vary based on the size of the property and the complexity of the cleaning, and the amount of snow.

• De-icing salt and/or sand application.

• Ice dams and buildup removal - please ask for an estimate. 

• Roof snow clearing - please ask for an estimate. 

• Hauling snow piles away - please ask for an estimate

Prices may vary depending on the size and difficulty of your property. We accept checks only for these services, and all payments are due within 7 days from the billing date. A charge of 1.5%/month will be applied to any late payments.

Snow Removal Packages

 

- Affordable prices and professional services with a convenient seasonal contract:

your price will be locked in for the season, and there will be no surcharges, even after heavy winter storms

- Your driveways, sidewalks, walkways, steps, and stoops will be cleaned from snow and ice after every snow event under the terms of your contract.

- Salt/sand treatment is provided as a bonus

with every package for no additional charge. Also, Green Way Landscape company highly recommend receiving our freezing rain/ice storm service as part of your package (salt/sand application; regular rate applies).

- All seasonal packages include a complimentary mailbox and fire hydrant service.

Snow will be cleared to ensure access to mailboxes and fire hydrants at each visit. Convenience and safety for no additional charge! 

- Winter seasonal contracts run from the date of sign-up through March 31.

All contract prices are per visit with convenient monthly billing. We accept cash, checks, and online payments. All payments are DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS of the billing date. A charge of 1.5% per month will be applied to late payments. 

 

Terms of the contract for winter services

 

• Limitation of Liability: Customer is aware that snow clearing may not clear their property to bare pavement and that slippery conditions may prevail or arise even after snow clearing. Landscape contractor assumes no responsibility for slip and fall accidents as a result of this naturally occurring condition. Customer is responsible for monitoring the condition of Customer's property and calling if additional services are desired. Customer is responsible for providing unobstructed access to the working area: Landscape contractor will not clear snow around the vehicles left in the driveway to avoid accidental damage by the equipment. Hidden objects under the snow, such as toys, dog chains, etc., need to be removed in advance – Landscape contractor assumes no responsibility for breaking such objects.

• Provision for Default and Cancellation: Either party may terminate Green Way Landscape company Snow Removal Package agreement at any time with a 10 day advance written notice. Cancellation date will be 10-days after such notice is received. In the event of cancellation, the customer will be responsible for all costs of services rendered up to the cancellation date. 

• Payment: Invoices for the monthly amount of services will be sent at the end of each month. Landscape contractor only accepts checks. Our payments are DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS from the billing date. A charge of 1.5%/mo. will apply to late payments. If customer's account stays overdue for 14 days or more and Customer did not previously arrange special payment terms with Contractor, Green Way Landscape company reserves the right to suspend the service and send final invoice due and payable immediately. Returned checks will be assessed a $30 fee, and overdue bills may be turned over to a collection agency. 

• Specified Snow Height Requests: As Landscape contractor services the large area including Iowa City, Coralville, and North Liberty, it has been determined that the amount of snow might vary within the area due to winds, elevation, etc. We, Green Way Landscape company, carefully plan a service route and take care of all properties every time the snows levels are high enough for municipal services to carry out snow removal. However, it is possible to cancel a specific service when Customers determine that the snow level doesn't warrant service or if Customers desire to clear the snow themselves. In that case, Customer needs to notify Contractor, Green Way Landscape company, by phone or email ASAP after the end of snowfall BEFORE Contractor arrives. That will allow Landscape contractor to exclude Customer's property from the service schedule. Without such notification, Green Way Landscape company's crew will arrive, and Customer will be billed as usual. It is possible to cancel only two services in one month to keep the contract price; otherwise, Landscape Contractor reserves the right to terminate the contract and notify Customer that the contract will be replaced with “one-time call” snow removal service with a different price per service. 

• Force Majeure (Snowstorm) Situation: In case of a blizzard, when the snow levels are above 1 ft and the municipal services cannot cope with the clearing of the major roads, a contractor's access is also blocked, so the Landscape contractor is unable to start the contract service at the time defined in the contract due to force majeure circumstances, and is not to be held accountable for the forced breach of contract. In this case, the service will be resumed as soon as the Landscape contractor is able to get to the customer's location. 

• In case of a blizzard, when the snow levels are at or above 1 ft, knowing how important it is for everyone to get out of the driveways, Green Way Landscape company focus on clearing driveways first. The emergency service will be billed like any other regular service. After the driveways of all the customers have been cleared and it has stopped snowing, the Landscape contractor will provide a regular service within 12-16 hours with the machines specifically designed to clear the snow at such levels. 

• In cases when the snow levels are at or above 1 ft, all the driveways are cleared with trucks only.
